MEMORIES: SOME OF THE EVENTS OVER THE LAST 50 YEARS

Geoffs first exhibition was in England in 1976. Since then he has had numerous exhibitions. In France, England, Switzerland and USA. His last major exhibition was in the United Nations in Geneva, following a personal invitation by Kofi Annan whom he met during his Davos exhibition.

Première exposition, Angleterre 1976. Depuis, nombreuses expositions en France, Angleterre, Suisse et USA. Sa dernière grande exposition fut aux Nations Unies à Genève sur invitation de Kofi Annan qu'il avait rencontré à son exposition à Davos.

Geoff is polyvalent and uses different materials for his creative work . Be it in collages, paintings, sculptures in bronze or ceramics, Geoff demonstrates a vivid imagination and leads us on a vivid journey.

Born on the 4th of December 1952 in Mile End, London, England..Geoff Troll has a dual career as an artist and an art therapist with his first exhibition in 1976 at the same time as he started work in Runwell psychiatric hospital in a rural setting not far from London.Silver medal from the organisation Mérite et Dévouement Français July 2002. Member of The Academy : Arts, Science et Lettres France depuis 2002. President of the French Federation of Art-Therapists, 1988-1993.Member of the executive Board IAACT (International Art Therapy Association) Basel, Switzerland, 1989-1993.Geoff's relationship with Switzerland started in the eighties when Jacques Lanares engaged him to start teaching art therapy at the institute for social workers INPER in Lausanne . This led to many years of friendship and collaboration and also opened the gates for many exhibitions in Martigny, Geneve, Vevey, Fribourg, Venthone and Davos.
Geoff has published 4 books on Art Therapy in French they will be presented at the exhibition

Some of Geoff’s passions are preserving our climate, nature and ecology, he is also the creator of one of the world’s longest permanent hedge mazes « ARTMAZIA », 4000 beech trees all planted by himself and family. It is situated in Normandy France .
